Video Automation: Selenium and Moviepy

SEO parasites such as YouTube, Medium, Reddit and LinkedIn are taking up more and more space in search results. This poses a real challenge for useful content, as Google tends to favor large sites over small ones, even if they are less relevant.

So how do you get visibility in this context? The solution is to publish on these big, trusted sites! And by automating the process, you can quickly achieve a massive effect and generate lots of traffic.

I set out to create a Zennoposter bot that would automate the creation of voiceover videos, post them to YouTube with an affiliate link, and then share them on other parasites.

To carry out this ambitious project, I used the latest technologies in artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT Vision for the analysis of the sales page, Elevenlabs for voice and the Stable Diffusion API to illustrate the videos with pictures.

After a few Python scripts, the bot was ready to use!

The Heart of Video Automation: Selenium and Moviepy

The key to automation was using Selenium to record the scrolling of web pages, and Moviepy to synchronize voice with video. This made it possible to create captivating visual content, ready for internet users to consume.

Multichannel Strategy

The real test of automation was its application in a multi-channel strategy. The bot was programmed to automatically post to YouTube, generating thumbnails via Stable Diffusion, and to share content on Medium, Reddit and LinkedIn using APIs to facilitate Google indexing and distribution.

This project was much more than just a programming adventure. It was also an opportunity to reflect on the transformation of content marketing in the age of automation and the changes in the field of SEO. The efficiency achieved through the bot opens up many possibilities for content creators and digital marketers around the world.
